New Moon Merchandise For Twilight Fans This Christmas

With New Moon causing such a stir with fans of the Twilight saga books and movies, there is a huge demand for New Moon merchandise this year, and NECA and Co have stepped up to the mark and delivered big time. While there was a great number of items available for fans of the first Twilight movie, there is a massive amount more this time around for the second film in the series. Thanks to the wealth of different items that are available in the range of New Moon merchandise, there are ideal things for both small or large gifts.

What Should I Look For? - A bright red and yellow dump truck with a huge smile on his face.
Availability? - Easy to Find. Many Chuck the Talking Trucks are readily available.

4. Twilight New Moon Action Figures

What Is It? - Another hot movie franchise, based on the hit novels, starring vampires and werewolves.
What Makes This Toy Fun For My Son? - While aimed more at pre-teen and up young girls, werewolf vs. vampire battles and a solid storyline keep boys entertained as well.
What Should I Look For? - Collectible action figures made by Neca. Highly detailed reproductions of virtually all the major Twilight New Moon characters.
Availability? - Easy to Find. Online and in specialty shops that is. Neca are not (yet) available in every large retail chain.

5. Apple iPod Touch

What Is It? - Probably the best portable audio - video player / internet enabled multimedia device on the market.
What Makes This Toy Fun For My Son? - 64gb of music and video storage, iPod Apps, web browsing, and so much more in the palm of your (sons) hand.
What Should I Look For? - Apples signature less is more aesthetic, in touchscreen form.
Availability? - Easy to Find. Just about every electronics retailer out there should be able to supply you with an iPod Touch.

What Is It? - Pokemon (remember them?) and Transformers robots in one package.
What Makes This Toy Fun For My Son? - Six mini robot like "traps" combine to make one big robot "warrior" - perfect for battling other robot warriors with or without the accompanying trading card games.
What Should I Look For? - A big dragon headed "warrior" robot in Bakugan packaging
Availability? - Easy to Find. Bakugan merchandise is typically produced in health quantities, especially around Christmas time.

What Is It? - Furry red Elmo hands for younger boys.
What Makes This Toy Fun For My Son? - A vibrating glove lets your toddler play AS Tickle Me Elmo.
What Should I Look For? - A pair of furry red hands with Elmo's face on them.
Availability? - Easy to Find. Nowhere near as difficult to obtain ans the original TMX that started the craze.

What Is It? - The latest generation of Nintendo's king of held video game systems.
What Makes This Toy Fun For My Son? - Now with built in cameras and sound recorders, the DSi brings a new dimension to portable gaming.
What Should I Look For? - Similar look and packaging to the standard DS and DS lite, with a small "i" on the box.
Availability? - Easy to Find. Supply is healthy of just about all the major video game systems, including the Nintendo DSi, this Christmas.

9. LEGO Ultimate Building Set

What Is It? - A nice sized Lego bucket with 405 lego bricks.

Crazy Ralph Bust - Messenger of God!

Hey everyone this is the head bust of Crazy Ralph played by Walt Gorney. He is from the 1980 classic horror film Friday the 13th. Ralph rides around on his bicycle telling people to stay away from Camp Crystal Lake (which he refers to as Camp Blood) or they will be killed, claiming he was a messenger sent by God to warn people of the campground's "death curse", always saying "Doomed. You're all doomed!" Ralph is murdered in Friday the 13th Part 2. Josh Stephenson created this amazing limted bust. I have number 7 of 13 made. It looks much better in real life! What Is It? - Transformers meets strategy card games meets Japanese anime.

What Makes It "Hot?" - for any kid (or adult) that plays or watches Bakugan, the Maxus Dragonoid is a must have. 6 "traps" and one "warrior" combine to form a fearsome robot like creature not unlike the Transformers Devastator. The cool part is that both the combined form robot and it's individual pieces can be used in the card game as well!

What Should I Look For? - A BIG red Bakugan "robot" with a dragon's head.

Availability? - Good. A healthy production run this year has put a healthy amount of this Bakugan on the market.

8. Elmo Tickle Hands

What Are They? - Big furry red gloves for toddlers.

What Makes Them "Hot?" - The right handed glove vibrates when placed on any surface, causing a "tickle" effect.

What Should I Look For? - Big furry red gloves with Elmo's face on it.

Availability? - Healthy. A decent seller but not quite as in demand as the original Tickle ME Elmo that started the craze.

9. Nintendo DSi

What Is It? - The next evolution of Nintendo's premiere hand held video game system.

What Makes It "Hot?" - Built in cameras and sound recorders/processors open up a whole new dimension in portable gaming.

What Should I Look For? - The same compact box of the original DS, just with a lowercase "i" attached.

Availability? - Decent. Demand has not (yet) skyrocketed as with it's big brother, the Nintendo Wii.

10. Apple iTouch

What Is It? - THE music player to have, period.

What Makes It "Hot?" - More than just a music player, the 3rd generation iTouch adds up to 64gb of storage space for music, movies, apps, games, and much more.

What Should I Look For? - Apples signature less is more aesthetic, in touchscreen form.

Availability? - Good. No foreseen shortages of the iTouch for this coming holiday season.

UPDATE 5/14: INFO ON SDCC EXCLUSIVE "PREDATORS" FIGURE! Apparently, there'll be a San Diego Comic Con '10 exclusive figure of the Berzerker Predator -- in cloaked mode! There's a few other SDCC exclusives from NECA, but this is the only Predator-related one. Just thought you guys'd like to know. UPDATE 5/3: THE FIRST WAVE OF NEW PREDATORS HAS BEEN SHOWN ON PRE-ORDER SITES! Oh, yeah. Straight from the upcoming movie, you can get ready to pick up the Falconer, Classic, and Berzerker Predators soon! Dunno exactly when they'll be released, but I'm hoping sometime soon. Now c'mon, NECA! Get crackin' on the P1, P2, and P2 Elder! UPDATE 2/14: ARTICULATION AND MORE ANNOUNCED! These puppies will have the standard articulation you'd expect, but with ball-jointed neck, ball-jointed elbows, and ball-jointed knees added to that! Factor in the normal areas, and you've got yourself a true triumph over McF! Sadly, there will be multiple P1s (each with the heads you see in the photos). Apparently, these guys've never heard of interchangeable heads. Same issue the Wolves had. ______ It's a great day for collectors everywhere, as long-awaited pictures of some of NECA's future Preds surface on the web! Fresh from Toy Fair 2010, come some incredible shots of the P2 Elder and P1. Most likely, they'll also release 9" figures to go in-scale with their previous Aliens, but so far, their 12" stuff is actually reminiscent of Hot Toys... Supposedly, NECA will also make figs from the new "Predators ...

Coraline Movie Merchandise From the Neil Gaiman Film Adaptation

A whole new batch of fans have been introduced to the work of Neil Gaiman through the movie adaptation of his Coraline novel. The film has proven to be a big hit with children and adults as well as long-time fans of the original Coraline book, and now the hunt is on for official Coraline movie merchandise. Let's take a look at what's in store for Coraline fans around the world!

The main character of Coraline Jones herself is available online and in shops as a collection of three poseable action figures. Sure to enchant any fan of the brilliant animated film, Coraline has been made available in three costumes from the movie, including her pyjamas, her overcoat and her everyday outfit. The figures are bendy and poseable and come with a display stand to help Coraline stand upright in any pose you want to put her in! These ideal examples of Coraline movie merchandise come made with an array of different facial expressions to choose from, so you are able to pick your favourite outfit and facial expression as you begin your Coraline merchandise collection.
